Yesterday, something new started happening... when I put my car in reverse (after starting) it seems as if the transmission doesn't engage. The car rolled back far enough and then I put it in drive and samething. After about a good 10 seconds it engaged and started going. This is additional to some ratteling I hear when I accelerate and go through rpm ranges of about 2.5 to 3.

Any ideas?
