I am a new member here, Look like a very interesting forum. Anyway, My 68 has a (72) 350,I started having charging problem's, Took the battery out and had it checked! They said battery was good, Bought a ext regulator and put that on, No luck, Still only charges a little over 10 volt's!

Getting discusted, Must be the alternator, Took it off and matched it up at the part's house, Put it on with same outcome a little over 10 volts! Then it dawned on me that my car has a external and internal regulator:runaround:

It look's like the previos owner wired it for a internal reg. Now after all the new parts, to get it to charge I have the old ext. plus the new internal regulator's plugged in!!! Any ideas?
