While driving yesterday, I heard a metallic rubbing sound coming from the right front wheel. The sound is there at speeds above 45 mph but disappears when I slow down under 40-45 mph. Braking has no affect on the sound when I'm moving fast enough to hear it. I had the right front wheel bearing repaced about 3 yrs/15000 miles ago when I noticed some play in the wheel.

Is this a failed wheel bearing or could it be something else? If so, does the bearing need to be replaced or should I try having it repacked again?
