2001 mazda alarm goes offloucaf 06-14-2009, 11:00 AM I have a 2001 mazda 626 and the alarm goes off for no reason...any ideas? 1=2 06-15-2009, 01:37 PM If it's aftermarket, it's probably hypersensitive in terms of the setting it's on. Had a Cherokee that would go off if I leaned on it. There should be a little box somewhere on the car (most likely under the dash around the fuse box) where you can turn a dial down or up. Turning it down should prevent it from going off. If it's not aftermarket, refer to the owners manual for adjustment, if there is a place. If not, look online to see if you can set the sensitivity. loucaf 06-16-2009, 08:13 AM thanks, I'll take a look and see if there is a setting adjustment. The alarm is factory standard. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
