1993 s-10 blazer 4.3 cpi...another one with fuel problems?bthepenny 06-14-2009, 02:40 AM I bought the truck the other day for cheap. the guy said it aint ran in over a year. first thing i did was check to see if i got spark and fuel pressure (just pokin valve not with a guage). both where good. I poured gas down intake and it ran for a second or 2. pulled top of intake and checked the spider out. seems the solenoid wasnt getting a ground so i made one and it sprayed out all the injectors like a champ. put it all back together. and nothing. tried to pour more gas and would not even sputter. check spark again and was still good. any ideas that would help? thx metallica21156 06-17-2009, 07:41 PM you may have flooded it pouring gas in it. were the plugs wet? bthepenny 06-18-2009, 01:58 AM i pulled all plugs after not messing with it for a day or two and they were dry and still wouldnt do anything but im just saying screw it and put a carb on it and call it a day. the only purpose i got the thing was a offroad toy so fuel milage and all that stuff dont matter and where im at its just mud not anything steep so i dont worry about the carb on a hill cutting out b1lk1 06-18-2009, 07:21 AM A helluva alot easier and probably cheaper to fix the current problem. Get someone with a proper OBD II scanner to look at it and if it has 60PSI+ of fuel pressure then the pump is probably good. DO a proper fuel pressure test as well. You will be doing a ton of work swapping it over to a carb and I doubt it will ever run right if at all. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
