95 lumina stereo removal

hi, i currently have a kenwood kmd-673r stereo in the 95 lumina. i didnt install this unit so i am not sure about the procedure. i am trying to remove this unit and connect a ipod cable into the cd changer input in the back. i cant seem to get it out though. can anybody send me some kind of instructions on how i may be able to remove this? i can take a pic of what it looks like right now if you guys need. thanks!

yeah. take the instrument bezel off... bottom part of dash, under the steering column (2 screws) you have to work with the tilt steering and slightly flexing the bezel to get it off from around the steering wheel.

once the bezel is off, you will see that on each side of the stereo are 4 screws from the radio bracket attaching it to the dash.

try not to lose the clips that attach the bezel to the dash. done this many times without breaking it. last time i did it i swapped the radio in my lumina to my truck.. took about 15 minutes altogether.
