WHEN WE ACCELERATE AND THEN RELEASE THE PEDAL AND THEN REAPPLY SOME PRESSURE TO IT THERE IS A CHUGGING OR JERKING EFFECT AS IF THE THROTTLE IS TRYING TO CATCH UP. OUR ENGINE IS A V6 3VZ.

HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THIS CONDITION AND HOW DO YOU ELIMINATE IT?

APOLOGIZE FOR THE LARGE PRINT. HAD MESSAGE ALMOST COMPLETED AND REALIZED IT WAS IN LARGE PRINT.

THANKS.

What is your car's maintenance history?

Spark plugs, wires, distributor cap.

Have you tried to clean throttle body?

The plugs, wires and distributor cap are new within the last 2 years.

When I replaced these items, I cleaned the throttle body. I could clean it again and see what happens.

Thanks for your input

did you use oem wires and NGK plugs when they were replaced?

have you checked your air filter?

is it worse going uphill?

does it do it all the time or just after a cold start, warmed up, etc?

It does it all the time.

Air filter looks fine. Changed last year.

It "chugs" when you take your foot off the gas and then reapply. If you take your foot off the gas and then wait a few seconds and reapply it is not as bad.
