97 yukon acts like its running out of gas

i have replaced the fuel pump,filter, fuel pressure regulator, and once it gets hot the engen starts acting like its running out of gas. it has the 5.7l vortec in it and im lost on where to go next any sugestions thanks its raining today and it runs alittle better and its cooler out does that make any sence to anyone thanks for any help you can give me

ok my 97 yukon 4x4 5.7l vortec runs perfect at an idol but when its on a pull like driveing it keeps cutting out like its looseing power or just like if you start to run out of gas ar shutting the key of and on going down the road ive put 2 new fuel pumps in it so far and fuel filter and a fuel pressure regulator in it and runds till it gets hot and starts every thing again. please help if you need more info please feel free to call me my # 937-552-3074 ask for jimmy. i need to fix this thing its all my wife has to drive besides my box truck and you know we cant have that lol

It could be the fuel pump relay. You need to check the voltage at the fuel pump when the problem happens. Also make sure the fuel pump ground is tight and clean.

ok i had a guy at the garage look at this truck again and here are the codes that are showing up now

po112

1at low input

po117

engen coolant temp i just replaced that a couple months ago dont know why its showing as bad

po712

trans fluid temp

will any of these make it act like its not geting enough gas to it it idols fine but as soon as you give it gas to make it run faster it wants to cut out on you. heres a list of new parts ive already put on it this week

2 newfuel pumps

new fuel filter

new fuel pressure regulator

cap and rotor button

please help i dont know where to start looking next im about to send it to the junk yard lol.

I have the 96 suburban and fuel pumps are a problem i've dealt with. After replacing my 2nd one it began to behave as you describe; sitting and idiling fine, but on the road it occassionally cut out. Went to remove the pump, again, and found loose wiring was the problem. I'd check that first if you haven't already. Then the pump pressure. Even new pumps can go bad or be bad out of the box. steve

jimmy i own the same truck with the same problem.And ive been a mechanic for 12 years,and this issue has been kickin my ass for 2 months.Ive change out everything including the whole fuel system, im pissed now its on, me and this truck are at war.I will figure out the problem i swear.Im dropping the tank again this weekend and hoping for luck.call me, if you figured it out the problem call me at 1508-317-3672. thanks,CHAD

hi i think i found the problem with mine it was the cadilatic converter all that money and work i sonk into this thing and a 5 minutes with the cutting torch took care of the problem. i havent got to drive it yet but wife sead it runs perfect now. i just bernt a hole in it once it emptys out ill patch it back thanks for all the help.

ok i think i found my problem with my truck i took the gas tank back out and was looking at the plastic lines going to the fuel pump both the plastic lines have been krimped in 2 diferent places im changeing them today wish me luck. and i need to know if anyone knows where i can get a wireing diagram for the fuel pump wires? i bought a new wires and the set they gave me for my truck has 5 wires instead of 4 going to it anyone know why?

no no vacume line that i seen when i replaced it
