RennWerks is NOT dead!!pedal2metal 06-05-2009, 12:33 AM Yes folks, contrary to what you may have heard, RennWerks is not dead. After the original owner, Richard Sterenka, left to pursue other endeavors, the remaining owners allowed the company to falter due to lack of motivation, management, and sound fiscal policies....some well known members of the staff are to blame as well. I am the last remnant of what was a prestigious racing program and for a time, a great maintenance, performance, and tuning shop for Porsches and BMW. I was given the responsibility of managing the company three years ago, albeit with my hands tied behind my back. After much persuasion, I had finally convinced the old owners to move on and allow myself to purchase the company in October 2008. I officially took full control January 1st, 2009. Of the remaining clientele I was able to salvage, we currently hold a 98.6% satisfaction rating. I have worked hard over many years to become what I believe of myself to be, one of the best Techs in the Bay Area. I have expanded the business to include not just Porsche and BMW repair, performance, tuning, but also Audi, Mercedes, Ferrari, and Lamborghini services. I have a great passion for this company and dedication to its patrons. Richard was impressed when he stopped in for a visit recently. I have a small, yet great staff, and hope that we can be a regular sight at club and racing events next year. Maybe even host some events. I am far from being rich and I am busting my butt to make things happen and pursue big dreams to bring Rennwerks back and beyond its old glory. This is a tremendous struggle without deep pockets and silver spoons. If you live in the SF Bay Area, I ask that you pay us a visit. You will find our friendliness inviting, our knowledge unbecoming, our dedication inspiring, and our fees and prices insanely competitive. Sincerely, Mike RennWerksPerformance.com, Rennwerks.com daddyo8 06-22-2009, 01:45 PM Mike, I doubt if I'll be using your services as I live in the hinterlands of SW Kansas but I was impressed by your post, announcing the resurrection of RennWerks. Being a died-in-the-wool capitalist, this sort of news warms my heart especially upon sensing your committment to the business and "glorydays". If I'm ever out The Bay way I'll make it a point to stop by. Keep up the good werk ;) Pat Russell Ulysses, KS vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
