Mark,
I have a 99 suburban and I need to remove the ps door panel. Did you get any postings. I understand the door panel didn't change much until 2002.

Thanks,

I don't have my Yukon with me so I am going on memory here. I have a 2000 Yukon which should be the same as the Tahoe (not sure about the 99).

There are 1 or 2 screws that have to be removed near the arm rest. After that the bottom of the door panel has to be pulled away from the door. A flat door panel tool works the best. Once the door panel is pulled away from the door on the botttom half, the panel can be lifted straight up. Now, there is one wire to the door light that has to be removed to completely lift the door panel off.

Hope this helps.

You do not pry on the door panel,it slides up and most GM full size trucks and SUVs, 99 and up are this way

That's right.

I got a real surprise when I removed the door panel on my '02 Tahoe. Watch out for the speaker wire too.

Sorry, I was getting my 90 truck confused with the 2000 Yukon.

I found this on the web which should help.
