Hello everyone I am new here. Awesome site btw! Lots of info on this site thats for sure.
Anyways, me and my wife are looking to buy a 93-98 Camaro. I like the styling on these years. And most of the ones I have seen for sale seem to be a good price. I see a lot of Camaros for about 2500-4000.
Is there any good detailed buying guides for these years? I want to make sure I get a decent reliable car that will get me from A to B. I know, I know I could get a honda or something, but wheres the fun in that?
I read about some problems with the water pump failing causing the optispark to die out. And also some problems with the radiator. Which is good because I don't see many transmission, brake, or internal engine related posts.
Would it be a good idea to just go ahead and replace the water pump and optispark if I got the car? Just in case to save any headaches I may encounter in the future with these items. All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
