Ok, ran through several searches and none of them resembled my issue. I have the Check Transmission light come on on my car along with an "E" come up on my display where normally the gear selection would display. The car drives normally and the check trans only comes on after I reach cruising speed of around 55... it shifts normally and drives normally, any ideas on what the issue would be. I had the codes scanned at the dealer a while back but they would not tell me what they were and they wanted another $450 to continue troubleshooting after the $90 diagnostics fee I paid them for nothing! pffft!

There are quite a few issues that could cause that indication. Since it seems to only happen after you reach cruising speed, I would suspect you have some issue with the torque converter or speed sensors. You might try a local transmission shop to get a better idea of the code and its likely source.
