Isuzu Trooper air vents blow even when off

I have a 1988 Isuzu Trooper and the air vents blow even when I don't have them turned on. If anyone could tell a solution to this problem, I would appreciate the help.

Most vehicles have 'flow thru' ventilation, meaning when you are moving, air is forced thru the ventilation system. On some vehicles (like my 00 Trooper, but not my 96 Grand Am) you can stop it by setting a control to RECIRCULATE.

Now if you're saying the fan is still running when it's set to OFF, that's different.

I will try to clarify the situation. The blower motor constantly blows at a high speed except when I turn off the key.

OK, that is a totally different thing. Unfortunately I don't have any wiring diagrams for one that old so I can't be of much help. A wild guess would be that the fan switch contacts fused in the high position, or a control relay did the same.
