What is 40 plymouth coupe worth?exlax6 05-26-2009, 11:16 PM My dad has a 1940 Plymouth coupe in need of restoration. He is thinking of selling it because he doesn' t think he can tackle the project. The question is how much is the car worth with no motor but pretty much all other parts are there? Is this a fairly desirable vehicle? Thanks to any that reply. MagicRat 05-26-2009, 11:38 PM It's not a particularly desirable vehicle. It will definitely cost more to restore than what its worth. Your car likely is only appealing as a parts car for another '40 Plymouth, or as a basis for someone's hot rod project. The fact that it is a coupe makes it slightly more appealing as rod material Check on-line and in Hemmings Motor News for that model and similar Ford and Chevy models of the same vintage and condition, to give you a rough idea about value. exlax6 05-27-2009, 01:22 AM Thanks MagicRat. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
