Man, those things are nice but they really arent that fast.

10-80mph up hill vs. my TA. He hung in there with me almost side by side until I hit about 60-70 when I started to pull heavy on him.

We would have stayed in it Im sure but as we topped the hill a State trooper had someone pulled. I slowed down real fast and looked over at the 2 guys in the Evo and they were giving 2 thumbs up. I returned the gesture.

I thought I would have gotten beat. I raced an older Evo when my car was bone stock and he put bus (http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.asp?m=4903844&p=1&tmode=1&smode=1#) lengths on me.


It was a good looking car though for sure...

Good stuff. Yeah the new Evo X has a lot of upgrades but the extra 300-400lbs of curb weight makes it too slow off the showroom floor. I love my '05 Evo but I'd take the new STi hatch over the new Evo X.
