with the pin stripe i'm using the smaller stripe of the two and it's not just going on there in a straight line i'm going to try to do a little tribalistic???? design

Do you have a pic of what wide body you are trying to replicate? The soarer wheels will look good on it. Also i don't know what kind of putty your using, but if i was you i would use two part epoxy as you will have a hell of a lot less sanding to do. As it seems like a nightmare sanding it? Also i would've painted the wires in the engine bay black, but thats my opinion. Good work thus far, don't get discouraged if not a lot of people respond. Keep it coming.

well i dont know of any widebody i'm trying to replicate, it's merely straight out of my head... i know this will sound weird but i'm letting the build take me where it wants to go. thats pretty much what i do with most of my builds unless i have a certain car i'm replicating like the initial d cars that i'm planing on doing i have already done the white fc rx-7 and i just picked up the ae86 trueno and levin , mr2 and sil80 just haven't got to them yet... on the putty i was using a two part... i just suck at it and this was the first time using it i used to use the crappy testors contour putty (which sucks to do body kits) but thanks for the help! you'll understand why the wire are blue a little later on it all has to do with the paint scheme

On first seeing this thread I was a bit dubious how your bodykit would turn out. But after seeing it with putty I must say it looks a hell of a lot better and it's nice to see it take shape. Must weigh quite a bit!
Try to keep the panel lines scribed so they don't disappear under the putty and scribe new ones where the front bumper section, doors etc would be. I'm interested to see how this progresses. Keep it up!

Hi,
lots of work you put into this model.
Nevertheless, f.e. there is no symmetry, what you model on one side of the body you did on the other side in a different way. Under the orange colour you can see the traces from sanding paper etc. Nice idea with new springs, but who can see them later?
Maybe you should work in smaller steps and work cleaner.

the traces of sanding are actually brush strokes from the touch up brush the paint kept drying on me too fast
