I just bought a new 2009 F150 FX4 V-8 5.4 ltr Triton; What I have done is added an Airaid Cold air intake, Airaid Throttel boddy spacer and a AAA 140 HP air sensor resitor to it; Right now I'm sitting at 465 HP with a leash around my throttel. Where I live around Houston (I-10 east bound) 95 MPH will put you in the slow lane.. My Gouvenor shuts down at 95 MPH and I would like to increase it to 120 without useing a reprogramer which will void all vehical waranties. The truck is more than capable of higher speeds but I feel that 120 MPH should give me the power to get out of the way if I need to.. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do?

Thanx

Programmers don't usually void warranty, I would worry about the other stuff voiding the warranty more than i would a chip. Either way, you can always revert it back to stock and take the chip out in the unusual case something were to happen. Otherwise, i wouldn't think theirs a way to increase the speed limiter.

Welcome to AF

You get 140 HP from an AIT resistor? I've gotta get one of these chips.

They don't give out invitations where you live. I've gotta move down there.
