transfer case pull/install? 94 rodeo 3.2

Just wondering how straight forward it will be to pull a transfer case and istall it on my 94 rodeo 3.2. If anyone can give me any kind of heads up would be most appreciated. Anything i should worry about, hidden connections, special tools etc...thanks for looking

Should be pretty straight forward. Disconnect drive shafts, electrical connections, shift linkage then unbolt it from the trans and slide it off. It will be heavy. Don't drop it on yer melon. It will have to slide back an inch or two off the output shaft.

ok so everything was in fact straight forward. I got all the bolts,nuts,electrical,drive lines,etc off.......it separated about 6-9 mm from transmission and now will not go further...am i missing something. There is a collar between the transfer case and the transmission is that holding it back in some way or is it just the pins... I am at a loss here i dont know what to do
