hi all, what kind of trans fluid do i use in my 1999 civic ex?

You should use only OEM fluids in all Honda vehicles. ATF for certain.

I agree with Copytech99. I tried a couple of differant fluids in my 98 manual trans and none worked nearly as wells as OEM stuff. Meaning that the trans shifted much smoother with the OEM fluid.
