I've got this problem where night time comes but the automatic headlights on my 98 Olds Intrigue do not turn. I can tell the sensor must work because at night the dash lights turn on automatically and I've check all the fuses and they appear to be fine but the headlights still do not come on automatically. It's just a nice feature that I miss, what else can I check?

People have reported stranger things and the fix being replace the ignition switch.
