Hello,

I see this is a common problem, they sometimes will go off, by slamming the door. At times, I have to pull the fuse while driving, but then you lose the control of the windows. If I pull the bulbs themselves, will the outlets, still draw power from the battery? Would hate to find this out, and drain the battery.

Thanks

If the only draw is from the bulbs, pulling them will eliminate the current draw. Pulling the bulbs will open that portion of the circuit, therefore there will be no current flow/drain.

Before you go to the work of pulling the bulbs, make sure that the instrumentation light dimmer dial at the headlight switch is not rotated to the "Interior light" position.

If you find the dimmer is not the issue, it may be easier to clean the door pin switches than to pull the bulbs and this may fix the issue. If not, then you're probably looking at a broken wire in the door connector cluster.
