Wild 49 custom

what i was up to why i was gone ! this started life as a built 49 copue , and with a wild plan LOL well after some sandind and cutting and a cost or 2 of paint and clear its done , hope you like Later David Irwin

ok i chopped the top about 6 scale in., opened the doors trunk and rolled the hood and both bumpers added 57 chevy taillights , and 59 impala taillamps ,

ik here it is done , I went with green and ghost flames , added a more deatail . hope you like

went with a more moderen motor but keep it in the same style as those from the 50s

Love those kind of cars! My friend's dad did one about 40 years ago or more. It is still alive but really fragile. He also put 57 chevy headlights on it and other mods that I'm not so sure about.

thanks to all you that have had something to say about this kit , the wheel are from an American Muscle 1/24 diecast kit and the tires are from Galaixie model company! the paint is ppg electric green with the flames being in green preal, it has all custom exhaust , and the stance is high enough to clear a nickel,and the inside was done with emboarded theard, it was a neat change from flocking , but it seems some builders dont think it goes with car and i somewhat agree LOL, i i had changed it so much i went with some thing differnt ! well thanks for letting me share with and i will post more of other models later David Irwin
