'88 Pontiac Formula(Stock), Or '73 Racing ChevelleBigBenOwens 05-09-2009, 04:59 PM A Guy In my area is selling a Ex-Drag car Chevelle:grinyes:, he wants 5,500. I don't have that, but what I do Have is a pretty good shaped Formula. Would it be a good deal to trade him cars? His car also comes with most of the stock parts. Ps. Formula has about half an inch long of rust on one wheel well, needs a new spoiler and re painted(Faded a bit), but this other car has parts stickers on it, and some shifter mod.s(Up on steering colum). Not to mention it has a few scraches. Witch car is worth more?:banghead: BigBenOwens 05-09-2009, 09:08 PM Any Help would be awesome!!!! I have been waiting for about 4 hours!!!! MagicRat 05-11-2009, 10:36 AM Without pics and photos of the Chevelle, it's really tough to tell you what to do. The '73 and later Chevelles are not particularly valuable or collectible. Furthermore, drag cars, by their very nature, have been modified and abused. Chances are, it will need lots of work and money to fix worn or broken parts and get it into drivable shape for the street. I would say, if your Firebird is a decent drivable car, keep it. Unless you know what you are doing, it's not worth the risk to lose your drivable car for a potentially very expensive project. BigBenOwens 05-11-2009, 05:07 PM Someone just bought the chevelle today. And I wanted a not so plastic car. Plus the Formula needs repainted, and the rust removed/Replaced, not to mention the messed up Spoiler =( vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
