I'm thinking about installing one-way brake bleeders to so that I can bleed the brake lines as a one-person project. I went to the local auto parts store and found three sizes: 1/4 inch, 7mm, and 10mm. Anyone know which size I need for my 91 Accord LX?

Probably closer to 1/4 in. and it needs to be clear plastic so you can see if there are bubbles.. Based on what I read this technique doesn't work very well because when you loosen the bleed cock air can leak into the tubing along with fluid from the caliper. (The bleed cock is not air tight on the threads and will draw in air.) So it would be better to have a wife/girlfriend/neighbor help you with the bleeding. You will do a better job.

w/ just going by the hex wrench size, how are they going to find the correct screw for your calipers?!?!

your honda has this following size "M8-1.25 X 24Mm"

but on a honda tech forum:

all stock bleeder screws on hondas/acuras are 10mm. the aftermarket quick bleeder screws like Russel are 8mm for some odd reason. I figured it's because it's actually a standard size and not metric.

others say 10 mm front and 8 mm in the back... at least the thread pitch is same metric 1.25

ps: are speed bleeders (the internal ball check valve ones) this bad?
