93 1.3 starts than dies

93 1.3 8 valve Swift.
Starts than dies after about 2 seconds. Half the time it won't start at all.
I can keep it running by squirting fuel into the throttle body so I know it's fuel related.
I tried applying 12V through a 3 ohm resistor directly to the yellow (power) wire to the injector, bypassing the relay and existing resistor. Didn't change anything.
When I crack the fuel line fitting there is pressure, and I can hear the fuel pump run briefly (as normal) when I turn on the key.
Any ideas where to look?

Fixed.
The problem was a short to ground in the yellow wire inside the wiring harness that runs between the fuel injector resistor and the injector. This wire provides power to the injector.
I cut the yellow wire at both ends and ran a new wire outside of the wiring harness.
