97 PA driver's side power windowHoladay1185 05-03-2009, 02:51 PM Hey all, My driver's side power window has been acting up quite a bit lately. The window goes down fine, but when you push the button to get the window to roll back up, it goes super super slow. After about 3/4 of the way up, I have to manually push the window up while, at the same time, pushing the button. About 3 years ago I replaced the motor on this window. Also, I removed the panel today to check for any obstructions and found nothing. Any ideas? Thanks. HotZ28 05-03-2009, 09:13 PM :sorry: but you may need to replace the motor again, that is about the only advice we can offer. Holaday1185 05-06-2009, 06:03 PM So window motors just don't die? They die slowly??? Slightly confused here. What causes one to "die over time?" Scrapper 05-07-2009, 12:20 AM :sorry: but you may need to replace the motor again, that is about the only advice we can offer. that should run off a cable it could be strecthed or take door panel off see if it's the switch, cable or motor. it may just need lubed. Holaday1185 05-07-2009, 04:45 PM I took the panel off the other day and lubed everything that I could get to. Any other ideas? Holaday1185 06-02-2009, 09:22 PM Just to recap--- window has been acting better lately. Some days it is reallyyyyyy slow, and other days it's just normal. Any ideas still?? ZiggyPA 06-03-2009, 02:48 AM Sounds like a bad ground or contact somewhere? Holaday1185 06-09-2009, 07:12 PM Hmmm. To be honest, I'm not so sure what I am looking for. Any ideas? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
