'02 How do you remove the rear bumper cover?dkc_2001 04-30-2009, 05:48 PM My wife put a dent right above the backup sensor on the driver's side under the tail light. I could probably push it out if I can get to it. How do i loosen/ remove the cover to get to it? TIA Davescort97 05-02-2009, 03:24 AM There are 6 screws across the top of the cover, near where the lift gate closes. 2 screws inside each wheel well. 4 plastic clips under the cover that pop out. There is a slot molded on the inside of the cover on each side, near the tail lights. Make sure you are aligned with the bracket that fits into the slot. dkc_2001 05-03-2009, 02:21 AM Thanks- i missed the screws at the top northern piper 05-05-2009, 01:13 PM this happened to our van as well. Once the bumper is off, take a heat gun (not a hair dryer - too cool) and heat the inside of the bumper until it goes a bit shiny. Takes a minute or 2. Using a wood, rounded object gently push the bump out. Keep working it until it looks as previous to damage. It's a pretty easy fix. Just don't get it too hot. p vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
