Lets see your engine bay!

Well I haven't showed anyone my finished JMF install and today I heat wrapped the exhaust mani and o2 housing and installed a jmf heat shield. So I decided to snap a pic of the finished product. There is still a ton of grease everywhere that needs to be cleaned but whatever I will get it done. You think I should get a spark cover?

You def. need a spark plug cover. What you really should do is get an extra valve cover and have them paint it when they're painting your car....that would look tiiiiiiits.

StevieK- I personally think that a nice clean painted valve cover with the plug wires routed neatly looks better than a spark plug cover. I painted my valve cover myself and I think it turned out pretty good. It really wasn't hard. My engine bay looks pretty bad right now because I'm in the process of removing all unneeded hoses/wires. I'll post one up when I'm done though.

mine looks about as dirty as Steviek's... minus the pretty chrome SMIM and exhaust shield... i wish it was cleaner... anyone recommend a good way to clean up the engine bay? as well as keeping it clean? we tried to use "purple power" degreaser on a friends 420A, and it turned the unfinished areas of the block/head (bare metal) white... and it looks like crap... dont want that on mine... but if someone has a good way to clean everything up, that doesnt include 1000000 rags, and 3000 hours... i'll clean her up, and show her topless... but until then, cant show the goods... :)

its so weird seeing the turbo and intake on that side. It just feels so unnatural. BUt it looks good! So thats all it takes to trap 110 huh!

111.8 to be exact. I know it has more in it. Hopin to get meth on it early on this summer and a clutch so I can take it back.

I dont know why you guys are hatin on the 420a. The stock internals blow but once those are replaced its not a bad motor.

Imitate?? Its almost the same motor....just beter, lol. You can build the **** out of the 64 though.....dont tell me that a forged internalled DOHC 6 bolt 2.4L that can spool anything, doesnt send a shiver up your ninnies.....u cant tell me that.
