My Flowmasters Keep Blowing Out Smog..

there is oil in the car..carb is tuned up and working fine as far as i know..but my flows still blow out grayish/blackish smog when i gun the pedal..is that just the extra black smoot that im blowing out or should i be concerned

well its not really the "flowmasters" doing this per say but its your exhaust in general. im no expert but if i recall correctly this grayish smoke your getting means your fuel mixture is wrong.

Grayish black is a rich mixture, with a little oil in it. If you're revving the hell out of it, you can expect to see gray smoke within reason.
If it only does this when you goose the throttle, that usually is due to the accelerator pump in the carb and is normal. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it keeps smoking and doesn't back off.
