96 f150 fusable linkcdzenga 04-24-2009, 11:09 AM I have a 96 f150 5.8l that had a fuse malfunction and melted instead of blowing for my heater and a/c blower.. I was wondering if I could clip wires and put fusable link in it since it has melted the normal slot for it to go in closed..If I do this what would be the best way to go about it!!! FNA 04-24-2009, 05:24 PM I think you would be better off just putting a fuse holder in line. Much easier to repair next time it blows. FNA 04-24-2009, 05:25 PM Cheaper too. cdzenga 04-27-2009, 07:29 AM Yeah that is what I figured too!!! Thanks guys!! rhandwor 04-27-2009, 09:18 AM http://www.wiringproducts.com/index1.html Look at the mini waterproof. Coat the connector ends with silicon to prevent corrosion. cdzenga 04-28-2009, 07:44 AM Thank you!!! I got my Heater- A/C blower working again!!! I would like to thank everyone who helps on this site!!! You guys are wicked!!!! Again Thank You!!! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
