In addition to XP1 and XP2, does anyone know if any of the cars have been destroyed in accidents?

A few have been crashed on the road, and on track. Most famously Rowan Atkinson (Black Adder, Mr Bean etc), crashed his F1 in 1999. You can find pictures at Wrecked exotics (http://www.wreckedexotics.com/mclaren/).

I have pictures of the missing bonnet from XP-2... This is my first post. I would love to hear what everyone thinks of them.

I am only still reading thru the various threads and posts on this forum relating to the incident, but I believe the Dawes that died went by the name of Chris. Although I don't know much background and I guess it is possible Nigel could have been his father/brother/etc....
Anyone know?

His father was Ernest, his sister's name was Belinda. No mention of a brother in any of the reporting that I have seen.

Christopher was Australian-born and was 39 at the time of the crash. The other passengers in the car were his personal assistant, Fiona Newman, and an architect named Michael Lamb.

Fairly comprehensive article here, however, you will find it is not the prettiest of stories:
