Electric fan ???????

I have an 85 Camaro with a 88 I believe 2.8 when I purchased it the heat guage didn't work and the cooling fan was wired straight into the fuse box , so I found the correct wire to work the gauge , it now works and wired the fan back up factory , replaced the relay near the driver side firewall , let the car heat up to 200 and fan would not kick on , so I pulled the relay apart and pushed the points together and the fan works then , so I replaced the heat temp switch located near the thermostat and still will not come on automatically , what can I dop now ????????

Not overly sure on the 2.8's, but 5.0 & 5.7's don't call for the fan until up at about 225-230 and then the fan runs unitl back to 210 and the cycle repeats.

I'll try to see what the temp is supposed to be for the relay to kick , thanks .
