Universal Jointsff-racer 04-20-2009, 10:24 AM I have a 2004 Lt Trailblazer with 80K miles that the universal joints in the rear driveshaft need replacing. The Oem parts are $150 more than aftermarket. Is it worth the additional expense? Thank you in advance. maxwedge 04-20-2009, 01:50 PM What is the difference has anybody explained the discrepancy, I'v used AM, with no issues so far. ff-racer 04-21-2009, 10:40 AM Well, I went with the aftermarket ones. Time will tell. Seems like there is no longer provision for greasing these new ones either. ricebike 04-21-2009, 01:33 PM hmm autozone show's 2 versions one w/ no zerk fittings, but has a lifetime warranty $16.99 each the cheaper version w/ a zerk fitting but only has a 2 year warranty $11.99 each vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
