This is my mother in laws car and the check engine light is not working. Can anyone tell me which light is for the check engine light??? I don't have a manual yet. I need the light so I can check for codes.

If you flash a flash light on the dash you will see where on the IP it is located. Also if light doesn't work, you will not be able to read the flashes to get the codes. This will be tricky cause it is an ODB I. I am sure if you bring it in to an auto parts store they can run the codes for you.

I"ll try the flashlight trick.
I know that the light has to work in order to check the codes without a scanner.
Auto parts stores can only read OBDII (96 or newer) not OBDI.
