Question:Is a Japanese car really safe?philipghu 04-16-2009, 11:37 PM Cars of Japanese brands have a good a crash test result, like Honda, Nissan..but weight of Japanese car is kinda light, the car body has very thin steel plates. American cars are much heavier..I don't think a Honda Accord will has the advantage when crashes with a Buick LaSabre though Honda has a better crash test result. philipghu 04-17-2009, 03:40 PM Guys, does anyone have opinion over the safety of Japanese cars? igor@af 04-18-2009, 01:35 PM they are safe, as per their crash ratings.
