Hi, I am new to this forum and I have a question. I am looking at a 2002 BMW 330Ci. It has about 120,000 miles on it and looks to be in good condition. Is this a good purchase? Is this worth it? How many more miles will the car run if I keep it in pristine shape?

They are asking for $10,500 but the hood needs to be repainted and a new hood ornaments needs to be placed on it. The inside just has some dog hair in it. I am probably going to offer $9,500 on it..... How does that sound?

Start at $9500, then find out how much it will cost to get the hood repainted and cleared properly, take half of that, and suck that out of the $9500. That is a lot of miles to be asking for 10k, especially if you don't know how well the car was maintained. I've seen and driven Bimmers with well over 200k miles on them, on the stock motor, running just fine. But at that many miles, you'll want to get it checked out ahead of time before putting any money down.
