ok so I found a 2.7l engine for my intrepid out of a Seabring i switched the pulleys etc got the engine in everything hooked up. I got her fired up and when u give it gas its like it has a rev limiter messing with it U hit the throttle and u get no rpms it just surges up and down its throwing out these codes
P0344
P0108
P0016
P0113

I changed all my sensors from my 2.7 out of my intrepid and put them on the seabring block ne suggestions would be nice the 2.7l i put in it came out of a 98 seabring i used block and heads only i was reading that i may have had too change the cam gear is this true? i didnt think i would need too since they are both 2.7l blocks

P0344 - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Intermittent
P0108 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
P0016 - Crankshaft/Camshaft out of alignment
P0113 - Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input


If the cam position sensor senses something on the cam gear, then your Intrepid cam sensor may not get a proper signal from the sebring cam gear. It looks like P0344 and P0016 could point to this. If you have the plug for it you could try the Sebring sensor, but I don't know if it would work or not. Hope this helps. Dustin
