Ok, Ill be honest, my name is Justin and im extremely interested in purchasing a civic within the next couple of days. I would consider myself a person with an intermediate amount of knowledge when it comes to civic engines in particular

but heres the thing

i would love to have a hooked up civic, but, i would love help from experts, being that I AM NOT ONE! OVERALL, I AM LOOKING FOR EITHER A 1996 OR 1998 HATCHBACK

THERES THESE CIVICS IM INTERESTED IN, BUT IM A BIT CONFUSED WHEN THE OWNERS SAY THE FOLLOWING:

ONE SAYS HIS CIVIC 93 SI HAS A "TYPE-R MOTOR B18C JDM"

THE OTHER 1996 Honda Civic Hatchback IS SAID TO HAVE A "DOHC B20 vtec swap with a B20 block, GSR head, 5 speed GSR transmission, 4-1 headers, coilovers, BOD1 jumper harness w/P72 ECu............

ESPECIALLY WHEN COMPARED TO

like........i would like to know which engine is better and why, and if the engine on the 1996 Honda Civic Hatchback sounds like a good set up overall. this is it below....which for some reason seems to be empty.like...i feel like stuff is missing from the engine as a whole,....idk....this is why im writing this
