hi im picking up a 93 civic dx with the split hatch(pops up and bottom folds down) my question is what is the stock motor for this car its an automatic built in Canada. the engine has oil in the number 3 cylinder bad headgasket? how hard is it to make this car a 5 speed?

its a 1.5L D15B7. And yes you can swap it from auto to manual but it might be more work for you than its worth, especially if you dont do a motor swap. The oil in there does sound like a bad headgasket but have you done a compression test?
