First off...hello and thanks for viewing my thread...

Okay, I have a 91 civic dx 1.5 and I was driving it one day then it just die. I would start her back up and she'll start but once i put her on drive or reverse she would die agian. Thought she might of ran out of gas so i filled her up and still the same problem. I check the main relay, but its good, clean the carb but still same problem. Now i change the fuel filter and now the car won't start at all. remember it would start no problem before when its cool and then get hot and die. Can anyone help please? I need this car to go to school and work! I would send her to a shop but Im low on money so only option is to DIY. Thanks everybody...

Almost sounds like an idle problem originally. Can you hear the fuel pump kick on? Are you checked any check engine lights/codes?

yeah i hear the fuel pump kickin in...i even check to see if its working when i change the fuel filter... Im thinking now that they might be air trap somewhere causing the car to not start?

Check for spark, it sounds like an ignitor in the distributor.
