97 T-Bird, V-6 front end workGrgshot 04-10-2009, 06:22 PM How hard is it to reblace the front wheel hub/bearing assembly. I have replaced about everything else in the fron suspension this and strut bearings and Im done for awhile. Any special tools besides a 2 jaw puller and hub socket? 97Bird 04-11-2009, 11:27 AM Remove the caliper and hang it with a piece of wire. Remove the hub cap grease seal and then the hub retaining nut. Sometimes you don't even need a puller to remove the hub from the spindle. When replacing the hub remember to install a NEW hub retainer nut and torque to 188-254 lb-ft. Ford also recommends to replace the hub cap grease seal. Grgshot 04-11-2009, 11:34 AM AWESOME!!! Sounds like it will be the easiest fix on that frontend yet!! ( knock on wood). Thank you, I owe you a beer!:p vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
