Alright guys, I have a couple of questions. I have a factory 1985 Supra with a 5M-GE. I have the W58 trans as well. I've only seen a picture of this done once. I can pick up a 2JZ-GTE for a pretty good price. The block, head, turbos, wiring harness, ECU, and even the accesories. I want it in my 85. I know the trans probably won't work at all unless there is a fabbed bell housing. But what else would be involved? Any subframe that might make it an easier swap? Or what about rear end strength? Its a factory 145 horse car and the swap wouls double that then upgrades can go anywhere from there. Please if you have some advice let me know.
