last August I started my Astro and the ac,blower ect did not work.
the next day it did nothing when I turned the key. I replaced the starter, ignition switch, cap, rotor, crank sensor, distributor sensor. I have googdspark and fuel presure. She runs for about 2 seconds then just cranks. I am pretty sure the ac/blower prob was the ignition switch. When I stop the cranking I hear one or two short elecrical snap sounds that seam to come from the right side top of the engine, but I cannot locate anything. Computer? or tow truck

electrical popping or cracking sound you heard may be holes or cracks in your spark plug wires, not sure, can you not get someone to try and turn the key with you looking under the hood?

I have the cowl off , but ur right I could get a better look. I think it would start with holes. I would dump it but it has brand new tires, shocks, break calipers, master cylinder, rear axel bumpers, and I love it

Check the coil wire. A sharp snapping sound is probably the coil wire grounding out.

Does the security light go off after about 5 seconds- or is it on and flashing?

checked the ignition coil in the dark, it was sparking all over the place so I changed it. She runs for about 3 seconds than stalls. Pretty soon she will have all new parts
