Ipod connection in 98 civic without losing cd changerjawberger 04-05-2009, 05:14 PM alright i have a stock radio that had the connection to the tape player and then the 6 cd changer connects to the tape player my question is can i get rid of the tape player and replace it with a ipod aux connection without losing the 6 cd changer... i've seen a lot of kits around that plug in where the tape player plugs in but say i would lose the 6 cd changer... any ideas? jawberger 04-06-2009, 03:37 PM i've been searching around the internet with no luck so now I was looking at a old head unit i have (kenwood kdc-mpu 532u) and figured i could just run a 2gig flash drive on the usb cord but i wanted to keep the 6 cd changer in the back but the kenwood cd changer connection is a 13 pin while the honda connection is the 8 pin... i've been searching around for a cable converter with no luck... anyone know if this cable is made and if so where? or if you know a solution for the first idea in the original post Thanks! CivicSpoon 04-06-2009, 05:15 PM What about getting an FM transmitter instead of going through all of this trouble? Other than that, I don't have any answers to your questions. jawberger 04-06-2009, 09:01 PM I did have one of those in my last car and the sound wasn't really good, it picked up a lot of static vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
