Has anyone had to repair a cracked block?

What year? I have one for a 1994 I am getting ready to scrap that is still good.

uhmm, from what I've heard about the northstar's it's an aluminum block and basically as everyone else has mentioned, kiss that motor good bye. Which means you will be sellin' that car on Ebay or if you really love the car and have the bread, you'll be replacing that motor. What happened? Did it overheat on ya??
