I absolutely LOVE the fact you can see that there's nothing but some loose wires behind the wheel...

You fail yet again Matty...

I guess I am at a loss for what is going on. Did you get an old Corvette or what?

Either he got an older Corvette (C5?) or he managed to finagle some Corvette brakes onto his G8 GT with smaller wheels for more rubber to fulfil his AutoX dreams.

Sweet pick-up!!

Hey Stig, in the end was it worth getting the G8 and if you had it to do it again would you have gotten something else?

Part of me also wants to say a Corvette set up on the truck...or maybe he did a total WTF and hooked up the brake and wheel to a trailer, with the loose wires and all.

Of course, part of me also wants to say its total BS, given today's date.

So true...

Ok ok, you guys are my friends... so I'll share with you my latest endeavor.

And no, it's not Wheels and C5 brakes on my G8... and no it's not a wicked cool setup on my truck. But... not a bad idea!

So much for staying in a reasonable budget.

Looks like a fun project. I am interested to see what becomes of it.

Nice choice on a new project, Matty.

There's a ton of gm goodwrench hotrod motors out there that'll suit that thing nicely, without breaking the bank...much.
