I have a 2000 Wrangler Sahara 4.0 engine. The freeze plug on back of the head is leaking. Does anyone know how to change the plug without me pulling the head or cutting a hole in the firewall.HELLLLLLPPP Please.

I couldn't make any guarantees. Another thing too though is that the plugs are there too expand to protect the block from cracking in the event the water freezes. Make sure you use anti-freeze after.

I heard something about expanding rubber plugs you are supposed to be able to use for hard to get to locations.

Also to if you try jb weld scrape the area real good with a wire brush to get the surface area clean.
