Thinkin bout gettin...KrNxRaCer00 03-28-2003, 12:48 PM 'm thinkin i mite drop some money into an Apex-i AFC. anyone on here have them? 'm not lookin for any big gains, but jus wonderin if ppl enjoy them or not. GSR 03-31-2003, 04:05 PM why waste the money. your mods dont justify a fuel curve re-calibration KrNxRaCer00 03-31-2003, 08:47 PM nonono, i kno...thas wut im sayin. should i get one now...cuz i'll be boosted eventually, or wait? cuz i'll have the money for that soon, but after the turbo...obviously gonna be broke. jus seein if they're worth it at all, or if its gonna jus be a waste. thx for the tip now (even tho i sorta knew i/h/e doesn't need it) IntegraB18LS 04-01-2003, 10:21 PM well since you already have vtec controllers, and all the other goodies, it certainly couldnt hert to have this, will look nice too. Id get it while you have the money. Kyle GSR 04-01-2003, 10:28 PM no just save more to complete the turbo kit you say you have the money for it now, how much? v-afc is just an overpriced piggyback that only allows fuel adjustability (and vtec) a better choice would be hondata but for now the 12:1 FMU supplied with most turbo kits will suffice for <8psi using your stock injectors. KrNxRaCer00 04-01-2003, 10:59 PM how much for hondata... frien got it for his type s, an he said it was pretty nice. casperGSR 04-01-2003, 11:14 PM hondata for turbo application will run ya around 500 bucks or so. GSR 04-02-2003, 02:10 PM :) for the rsx the only product they have (aside from the im gasket) is a chip. its been proven to give nice gains, but its not a standalone. the more advanced s200 system w/ boost option will cost around $500 (well 495) the basic s100 is cheaper. check hondata.com for exact pricing and upgrades available KrNxRaCer00 04-03-2003, 12:44 AM thx... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
