Econoline 150 Turn Signal Switch

Does anyone know how to replace a turn signal switch? After pulling the steering wheel and diconnecting the wires from the harness,I can`t seem to get the wires and coupler through the housing. Way too small for the coupler to fit through. Any suggestions? Thanks.

You don't have the year but normally they are two piece and have screws holding together. Look for screw holes on the bottom side.

Got the wires through, all hooked up and ready to go. STILL no signals or brake lights! Replaced bulbs, flasher unit, and fuses. Not too sure where to go from here. Any suggestions? It`s an 87 conversion. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Their are fuse able links that connect to the starter. If one of them is burned use a piece of wire two sizes smaller than the large diameter wire. For a 12 wire use a 16 wire for a 14 wire use a 18 wire. Make sure you use silicon on any crimp connections. Otherwise buy a used link at the scrap yard. They are color coded. Also check the ignition switch on the steering column.
Check for power at the brake light switch near the brake pedal.
