Just replaced timing chain, bacfires through throttle body and exhaust!

replaced timing chain, checked it several times, good fuel, good spark, backfires through intake and exhaust! Am i the only one?

Why did you replace it? Sounds like you didn't get it in time properly OR you have bent valves. Year/engine?

You also cannot rotate these engines backwards or the valves will hit the pistons. When I did mine, I rotated it clockwise probably 10 revolutions until I got it "perfect". When you set/checked your timing, did you rotate the engine a full 2 revoultions by hand to get the marks lined back up? You can be off a tooth or two and not notice unless you rotate the engine over.
